K-Scan is a professional scalp and hair analysis tool used exclusively in selected Kérastase salons worldwide including Hairloom Collective here in Perth, WA.
Using a specialised camera and intelligent imaging technology, K-Scan allows your stylist to see what’s happening beneath the surface of your scalp and hair - things that can’t be identified with the naked eye alone.
Think of it as a health check for your hair and scalp.
What Does K-Scan Analyse?
During your consultation at Hairloom Collective, K-Scan captures magnified images of your scalp and hair using different light modes. This allows us to assess:
Scalp oiliness or dryness
Flakes or dandruff (dry vs oily)
Sensitivity, redness or irritation
Hair density (how many hairs are growing)
Hair thickness (fine vs thick strands)
Signs of dryness, damage or stress to the hair fibre
